New Braunfels's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let the Wagner Thunderbirds get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Unicorns, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

New Braunfels' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Wagner, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Coincidentally, New Braunfels and Wagner will both be playing Tivy the next time they take the field. New Braunfels will host Tivy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Wagner will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
