Basketball Game Preview: Red Hook Raiders vs. Highland Huskies

Red Hook and Highland are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Red Hook Raiders will be playing at home against the Highland Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Red Hook took a loss when they played away from home on December 15th, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed two weeks ago. They claimed a resounding 58-26 victory over New Paltz.

Meanwhile, Highland's game on Saturday was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 74-58 bruising from Wallkill. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Red Hook's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Highland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Red Hook against Highland in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, as the team secured an 84-32 victory. Will Red Hook repeat their success, or does Highland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
