Volleyball Recap: Stratford Academy Comes Up Short

Stratford Academy was the 2-1 winner over Mary Persons when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs on Tuesday.

While Stratford Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21.

Stratford Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mary Persons, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stratford Academy will venture away from home to take on Perry at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mary Persons, they will face off against Howard at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
