Monett put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Southwest Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-2 last Friday.

Monett's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Southwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Monett will venture away from home to challenge Hollister at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cubs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Southwest, they will challenge Sarcoxie at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
