Volleyball Recap: Del Mar Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Del Mar won the last time they faced Independence and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dons walked away with a 3-1 win over the 76ers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dons.

Del Mar pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Independence, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Del Mar will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Branham at 6:45 p.m. on the 15th. The Bruins will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Dons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Independence, they will face off against Piedmont Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The 76ers are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
