Soccer Game Preview: Lee vs. Randolph School

Lee hasn't had much luck against Randolph School recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lee Generals will head out to face off against the Randolph School Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Lee has given up an average of 7.6 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Lee is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game last Thursday. They lost 10-0 to Bob Jones. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 196th, while the Patriots are ranked 42nd).

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Randolph School was not quite Gulf Shores' equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Dolphins by a score of 4-3. The Raiders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Randolph School, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1.

Lee suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Randolph School in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Lee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
