Basketball Recap: Dynamic duo of Mariah Stoltzfus and Zoe Willems lead Bethany Christian to victory

Basketball Recap: Bethany Christian Bruins vs. Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Bethany Christian Bruins walked away with it. They secured a 59-55 W over the Braves on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading Bethany Christian to victory were Mariah Stoltzfus and Zoe Willems. Stoltzfus scored 24 points along with five steals, while Willems dropped a double-double on 29 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stoltzfus has scored all season.
Bethany Christian's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.
Bethany Christian and the Comets will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive. Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
