Softball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Menasha's Ninth in Last Ten Outings

There's no place like home for Menasha, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Arrowhead Warhawks on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bluejays needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Menasha is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Arrowhead, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-4.

Menasha will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against De Pere at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Arrowhead, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Oak Creek at 5:00 p.m. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Warhawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
