Volleyball Recap: Douglas Comes Up Short

Douglas lost against Nipmuc Regional back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Warriors.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-8, 25-14.

Douglas' offense was headlined by Zoe Greenough and Ella Greenough, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Emily Pacheco and her two assists. Callie Wall controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Nipmuc Regional, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Douglas will challenge North at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers are facing the Polar Bears at the right time seeing as the Polar Bears are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Nipmuc Regional, they will square off against Holliston at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
