Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kellogg). They put the hurt on the Priest River Spartans with a sharp 25-4 win on Wednesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Kellogg's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Priest River, their defeat was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6-1.

Kellogg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-9 loss against Bonners Ferry on the 10th. As for Priest River, they have also already played their next game, a 41-4 defeat against Orofino on the 11th.
