Baseball Recap: Siren Comes Up Short

Siren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-9 to the Unity Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 25-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Landyn Randt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Waylon Meyer was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Siren's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Unity, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Siren will venture away from home to square off against Bruce at 5:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Unity, they will head out to face off against St. Croix Falls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
