Football Game Preview: Wilson Eagles vs. Mangum Tigers + Official Tickets

The Wilson Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Mangum Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Wilson will head out to face Mangum after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Eagles fell 22-16 to Healdton.

Bobby Adams put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 110 yards on only ten carries.

Meanwhile, Mangum put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 59-22 win over Carnegie. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Wildcats are ranked 199th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wilson better focus on containing Curtis Henley Iv and Remington Laughlin as the pair were huge in Mangum's win. Henley Iv gained 232 total yards and four touchdowns, while Laughlin threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes. What's more, Henley Iv racked up 149 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September.

Mangum was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 382 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 176 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.

Wilson suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 6-4. As for Mangum, their record now sits at 10-0.

Wilson was dealt a bruising 54-18 defeat at the hands of Mangum in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
