Softball Recap: Carlisle Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Carlisle's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Fairmont Firebirds. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Carlisle is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Having lost for the first time this season, Fairmont fell to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carlisle will venture away from home to square off against Oakwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fairmont, they will head out to take on Butler at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
