The Panthers will head out to take on the T-Wolves at 5:00 p.m. Timberland took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Zumwalt North, who comes in off a win.
It was a proper cat-fight when Fort Zumwalt North duked it out with Fort Zumwalt East on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions.
Fort Zumwalt North never let Fort Zumwalt East on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13, 25-17.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Zumwalt North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lily Hahn, who had 16 assists and six digs. Payton Buckman was another key player, getting 12 digs.
Fort Zumwalt North was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six contests.
Meanwhile, Timberland came up short against North Point on Tuesday and fell 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 19-25, 25-22, 25-18.
Timberland's loss dropped their record down to 14-5-1. As for Fort Zumwalt North, they pushed their record up to 9-6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Fort Zumwalt North couldn't quite get it done against Timberland in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
