Alleman kept up with Dunlap until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Eagles blew past the Pioneers 5-2. That three goal margin sets a new team best for Dunlap this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Dunlap and bumps their season record up to 5-1-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two games. As for Alleman, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Coming up, Dunlap will challenge Glenwood at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Glenwood will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Dunlap surely won't give up without a fight. As for Alleman, they will take on Davenport Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Alleman will need to watch out since Davenport Central have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.
