Basketball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was the 48-35 winner over King Philip Regional when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Franklin Panthers took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the King Philip Regional Warriors on Friday. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for King Philip Regional, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Franklin Panthers challenge the Taunton Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King Philip Regional, they will head out on the road to face off against Sharon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
