Softball Recap: Harpeth Indians vs. Hickman County Bulldogs
Harpeth let Hickman County stack four runs on them in the first inning on Tuesday but luckily Harpeth prevailed anyway. The Indians came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 8-4. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Taylor Riley made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.
