Baseball Recap: Post Antelopes vs. Morton Indians
Post was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Morton Indians. The Antelopes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2020.
Landyn Garcia was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
