Soccer Recap: South Garner Comes Up Short

South Garner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Willow Spring Storm, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Willow Spring this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in March.

South Garner's loss dropped their record down to 2-15-1. As for Willow Spring, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Garner will head out to square off against Corinth Holders at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Corinth Holders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something South Garner surely won't give up without a fight. As for Willow Spring, they are taking a road trip to take on Cleveland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
