Baseball Recap: Mona Shores Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mona Shores's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Jenison Wildcats on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Tuesday.

Mona Shores saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Krueger, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base.

Mona Shores' defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Jenison, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season.

While Mona Shores had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
