            Softball Recap: West Field Longhorns vs. Mountain Crest Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Bountiful, West Field was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They walked away with  an   11-7  win over the Mountain Crest Mustangs. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Longhorns considering their two-run performance the  game before.
  Clair Nessen was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. That  triple was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Rylee Andreasen, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
West Field is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season. Mountain Crest dropped their record down to 4-8 with the  loss, which was their sixth straight  on the road.
 Coming up, West Field will head out to  take on Green Canyon  at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. West Field's pitchers better be ready for this one: Green Canyon has averaged an impressive 7.1  runs per game this season. As for Mountain Crest, they will host Logan  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
