Recap: Vandegrift Vipers vs. Stony Point Tigers
The Vandegrift Vipers suffered their biggest defeat since November 28, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 69-41 loss at the hands of Stony Point. Vandegrift has not had much luck with Stony Point recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Josiah Moseley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Stony Point, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Moseley has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Junior Goodlet, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Vandegrift's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Stony Point, their victory was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-1.
Vandegrift will take on Manor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Manor has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 253 points over their last four contests. As for Stony Point, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Round Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Round Rock is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
