Academy of Aerospace and Engineering won the last time they faced Cheney Tech and things went their way on Thursday too. The Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets managed a 33-28 win over the Cheney Tech Chargers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jets.

Despite the loss, Cheney Tech saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cristialis Carrasquillo posted nine points in addition to five boards and three steals. Carrasquillo is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ari'Asjah Nixon, who scored two points and seven rebounds.

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering's record now sits at 2-0. As for Cheney Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cheney Tech has also already played their next contest, a 47-45 loss against Prince RVT on the 31st.
