Recap: The King's Academy Knights vs. King's Ridge Christian Tigers
It was a good run, but The King's Academy Knights unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of King's Ridge Christian. The King's Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as King's Ridge Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Although The King's Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Gavin Smathers and Bobby Johnson.
The King's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for King's Ridge Christian, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.
The King's Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Creekside Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Creekside Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. King's Ridge Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
