Baseball Recap: South River Takes a Loss

South River was the 9-3 winner over Chesapeake when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Seahawks took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars on Tuesday.

South River's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Chesapeake, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

South River wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Glen Burnie on the 9th. As for Chesapeake, they have also already played their next match, a 5-0 win against Southern on the 9th.
