Baseball Recap: Tulelake Takes a Loss

Tulelake lost against Plumas Charter on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Honkers came up short against the Warriors, falling 31-4. The Honkers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rafael Hernandez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Scott, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Tulelake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Plumas Charter, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Tulelake will face off against Hayfork at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Plumas Charter, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Burney at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st.
