It was a good run, but Lewiston-Altura unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 66-30 loss at the hands of the Lake City Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Tigers are ranked 107th).

Lewiston-Altura's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for Lake City, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewiston-Altura will take on Fillmore Central at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake City, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Dover-Eyota at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
