            Haleyville is 7-1 against Curry since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Yellowjackets  at 4:30  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Haleyville has 16 straight  victories, Curry has three straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
It was a proper cat-fight when Haleyville challenged Mars Hill Bible on Monday. The Lions narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Panthers  5-3.

 Carson Gilbert looked comfortable as he  pitched 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Jadyn Marbutt was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Eli Cagle, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Curry came up short against Hamilton on Thursday and fell  9-6.
  Blanton Gillespie made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Kameron Miles, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Haleyville pushed their record up to 19-6 with the  victory, which was their tenth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Curry, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Curry's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Haleyville hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .337. It's a different story for Curry, though, as  they've  only  averaged .237. Will they be able to contain Haleyville's hitters?
