While Centerville's win against Northmont wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Elks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-58 victory over the Thunderbolts on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Elks have posted since January 8th.

Centerville's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Northmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centerville will face off against Springfield at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northmont, they will take on Urbana at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
