Basketball Recap: Dover-Sherborn Comes Up Short

Dover-Sherborn suffered their closest loss since January 3rd on Friday. They fell just short of the Medfield Warriors by a score of 56-53. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Warriors are ranked 98th).

This is the second loss in a row for Dover-Sherborn and nudges their season record down to 6-11. As for Medfield, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dover-Sherborn will venture away from home to take on Norton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norton will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Dover-Sherborn surely won't give up without a fight. As for Medfield, they will square off against Bellingham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Medfield is facing Bellingham at the right time seeing as Bellingham is stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
