Football Recap: Scituate Piles Up the Points Against Juanita Sanchez Complex

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scituate). They blew past the Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers 35-6 on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Spartans with their most commanding win of the season.

Scituate's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drake Dumont, who rushed for 59 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Dumont also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up 0.5 sacks and making six total tackles (1.0 for loss). John Rubiano also helped out with an impressive 153 receiving yards.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Scituate's defense and their 4.5 sacks. Dominic Tosoni refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

The win was the third in a row for Scituate, bringing their record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average over those games. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
