Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Billingsley's 11th in Last 12 Outings

Billingsley extended their road winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Alana Jones. The Billingsley Bears took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 54-12 win over the Ellwood Christian Eagles thanks in part to Jones, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 42 games she's played dating back to last season.

Kaliyah McCary was another key player, putting up six points in addition to six boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Billingsley is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.5 points per game. As for Ellwood Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
