After losing to Fremont the last time they met, Lakewood Park Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

While Lakewood Park Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20.

Brooklyn MacFarlane paced Lakewood Park Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. MacFarlane got some help from Evie Gravante and her 11 assists. Delaney Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lakewood Park Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Lakewood Park Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Central Noble on the 19th. As for Fremont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Fort Wayne Canterbury on the 16th.
