Soccer Recap: Pope Comes Up Short

Pope lost against Cambridge back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pope Greyhounds fell 2-0 to the Cambridge Bears. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pope's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Cambridge, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Pope will challenge Riverwood at 6:00 p.m. on March 7th. As for Cambridge, they will square off against Blessed Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blessed Trinity will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Cambridge surely won't give up without a fight.
