After a string of seven wins, Garden Grove's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Santa Ana Saints by a score of 7-6. The Argonauts were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Saints earlier this season, when they won 11-2.

Garden Grove's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-6. As for Santa Ana, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7-1 record this season.

Garden Grove will take on Estancia at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Santa Ana, they will head out on the road to face off against La Quinta at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
