Softball Recap: West Mifflin Titans vs. Seton LaSalle Rebels
After flying high against Serra Catholic last Monday, West Mifflin came back down to earth. West Mifflin fell 7-3 to the Seton LaSalle Rebels on Wednesday. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2019.
TAYLOR KRIVANEK made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. SAMANTHA TOMKO also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
West Mifflin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Seton LaSalle, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Mifflin will host Plum at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Seton LaSalle, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on McKeesport at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
