Basketball Recap: Taft Triumphs

With a playoff win on the line, Taft rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the San Diego Vaqueros, sneaking past 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Greyhounds have posted since January 14th.

Taft's victory bumped their record up to 18-16. As for San Diego, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-9.

Coming up, Taft and Lyford will meet in a dog eat dog contest on Thursday. Lyford will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Taft surely won't give up without a fight. San Diego does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
