Baseball Recap: Pacheco Takes a Loss

Pacheco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 11-6 to the Beyer Patriots. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 5-4 to the Patriots when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Aidan Pikas and Tucker Kim did some serious damage despite the final result: Pikas scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances, while Kim went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Pikas is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.

Pacheco's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Beyer, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Patriots beat Pacheco by a score of 10-7 later that day.
