Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran won the last time they faced Marinette and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blazers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Marines. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blazers.

Olivia Kirchner had a dynamite game, getting 12 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August. Addison Bruley also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive contests.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's record now sits at 15-13. As for Marinette, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's road trip will continue as they head out to face Reedsville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marinette, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oconto Falls at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
