Having struggled with five losses in a row, Castleford finally turned things around against Camas County last Friday. They blew past the Mushers 40-6 at home. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Richfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of Camas County by a score of 16-14.

Despite the loss, Richfield saw an underclassman step up: Devin Scott rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 111 yards while completing 75% of his passes. Scott was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 56 yards.

Castleford's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Richfield, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-5.
