Volleyball Preview: Chippewa Valley Big Reds vs. Port Huron Red Hawks
The Chippewa Valley Big Reds will head out on the road to take on the Port Huron Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Chippewa Valley took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They had just enough and edged Fitzgerald out 1-0.
Meanwhile, Port Huron entered their tilt with Lakeview on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They won by a set and slipped past the Huskies 1-0.
Chippewa Valley has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season. As for Port Huron, their win bumped their record up to 18-8.
