Mesquite won the last time they faced Arcadia and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats skirted past the Titans 3-2.

Mesquite wouldn't go down easily and took Arcadia into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 24-26, 22-25, 15-9.

Mesquite is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season. As for Arcadia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-12 record this season.
