Basketball Recap: Community Has No Trouble Against Wilmer-Hutchins

The Community Braves got the win against the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles on Saturday by a conclusive 73-51.

Despite the loss, Wilmer-Hutchins still got an impressive performance from Dorien Brown, who shot 50% from the field en route to 25 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Chad Buckner, who posted 13 points.

The win got Community back to even at 1-1. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Community will head out to face off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on MacArthur at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
