Westby waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Black River Falls Tigers, sneaking past 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Norsemen also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Westby's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Black River Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7-1.
