Basketball Recap: Southbridge Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oxford, Southbridge was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Auburn Rockets 47-45. The win was all the more spectacular given the Pioneers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while the Rockets are ranked 99th).

Southbridge's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9. As for Auburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Southbridge will head out to challenge Bartlett at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Auburn, they will take on Oxford at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
