Baseball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 20-4 to the Mascenic Regional Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Mascenic Regional, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-7 victory against Sunapee on the 16th. As for Mascenic Regional, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Conant on the 16th.
