Basketball Recap: Gordonsville Comes Up Short

Gordonsville was the 68-63 winner over Clay County when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the Gordonsville Tigers and the Clay County Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Gordonsville Tigers falling 80-62. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gordonsville's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9-1. As for Clay County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers face off against the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clay County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Jackson County at 6:00 p.m. Jackson County will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Clay County surely won't give up without a fight.
