Basketball Recap: Reagan Davis Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Community

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Leonard, Palmer was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They managed a 36-31 win over the Community Braves.

Palmer's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reagan Davis led the charge by putting up nine points along with eight rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brookelyn Watts, who posted ten points.

Palmer smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. They are 7-13 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Palmer's record now sits at 7-16. As for Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.

Palmer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-31 loss against Honey Grove on the 28th. As for Community, they will face off against Commerce at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Commerce will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Community surely won't give up without a fight.
