Basketball Game Preview: Ridge Point Panthers vs. Fort Bend Elkins Knights

The Ridge Point Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Fort Bend Elkins Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Bend Elkins took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Ridge Point, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Ridge Point strolled past Fort Bend Austin with points to spare, taking the game 55-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Fort Bend Elkins ended up a good deal behind Fort Bend Hightower on Tuesday and lost 59-44. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fort Bend Elkins' loss dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Ridge Point, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

Ridge Point took their victory against Fort Bend Elkins when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 54-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ridge Point since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
