Volleyball Recap: Heath Takes a Loss

Heath lost against Utica back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Redskins, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Heath took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-21.

Ella Jewell paced Heath's offense, picking up ten kills. Jewell got some help from Ansley Harbage and her 14 assists.

Heath now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Utica, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Heath didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Watkins Memorial on the 9th. As for Utica, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Licking Valley on the 9th.
